Fulana, Mengana and Perengana is a slang to allude to someone you do not know the name or for some reason you cannot name. The slang provides an identity issue that reflects woman condition in society. The image of the woman has been in constant change all the time. However, what woman “are” is determinate always by society. ¿Why woman cannot be whom they what to be? 


The piece consists of three wood panels where 3 different women were painted using acrylics. Afterwards, they were covered with a polyurethane resin that transforms the wooden boards into “whiteboards”. 

The main idea is that the spectators will intervene this wooden panels drawing on the three women: Whom they think they are or what they think they should be. The video shows some of the results of this project.


The goal is to understand more about where the people are standing, and to speculate about the definition of women is in society today to be able to project to the future. The results are variable according to the places where the project has been implemented.
